i2i are preparing to run a 16inch Pioneer in an offshore pipeline in China. The line has over 150 bends along its length, operates at high temperatures and has an internal ID restriction.
i2i have successfully inspected a 12inch inspection of a subsea pipeline offshore Indonesia. The inspection tool carried a caliper capability as well as a full internal inspection capability. The final report will be issued in 10 working days from receipt of data.
i2i have shipped 8inch and 12inch Pioneer tools to inspect Force Main lines in California. The tools will be inserted into nominal pipe and pass complex, multi-diameter geometry including 1D bends and wye’s. These tools will be run by the client team onsite overcoming the travel restrictions on personnel due to the Covid Pandemic.

Some of the i2i team have utilized their skills in helping the NHS during the Corona lockdown by using the company’s 3D printer to make PPE face masks for NHS frontline workers. A great initiative by Nick Smith and Joe Stephenson especially.
i2i is overcoming the travel restrictions imposed by the spread of the Corona Virus by installing NiMH batteries into all our tools so they can be shipped directly to our clients and local partners. All i2i tools can be run by non-specialist personnel.

i2i’s Pioneer tools make it very easy to launch from high access vertical launch sites. The Pioneer tools are easy to transport and fit into the lift cages with no modifications.
i2i’s 8inch Pioneer is having a good run in Alberta Canada collecting some great data on all lines inspected. Huge cost savings for the clients as there is no requirement to modify the launch and receive traps.
